In Italy, la rosa is a symbol of passion and love. In the United States, the symbolism still remains, but they also represent femininity. I spotted these flowers during my travels in Florence, Italy at the Boboli Gardens. It is fitting, as the gardens was laid out for Eleonora di Toledo in the 16th century.
